A single blade should last somewhere between 5 and 7 shaves, depending on the thickness of hair, amount of surface area shaved, and other variables. When you start to feel the blade “tug” at the hair, that usually means it’s time for a new blade!

We recommend collecting used blades in a “blade bank” before wrapping them up and disposing them together. We list some recommendations here. Check with your local jurisdiction for their recommended disposal or recycling methods for double edge blades. More info can be found on our FAQ page in the Product section.

Razor blades are never allowed in carry-on luggage for flights per TSA regulations. Securely wrap and put them in your checked luggage if you want to take them with you.
